The Village That Planned for Every Child
In the Village of Tomorrow, marriage was more than a celebration—it was a commitment to responsible family planning.
A person marrying a partner who already had children was encouraged to discuss healthcare responsibilities openly. Biological parents remained responsible for their children, while the new couple could voluntarily agree on additional family health-insurance support.
Any parent who had a child before marriage was expected to include the child’s health insurance, education policy and general welfare in their annual personal budget. The village believed that every child deserved protection, education and care—regardless of the parents’ marital status.
Couples living together for more than one year were encouraged to prepare a written Declaration of Future Intentions, supported by a realistic annual budget for engagement, marriage preparations and shared financial goals. If their plans changed, they were expected to communicate respectfully and formally close the declaration.
Where disputes arose, both parties were referred to a 24-hour community mediation, counselling and rehabilitation programme—helping them resolve their differences peacefully and prepare responsibly for their next chapter.
