Today’s Market Insight
Gold ended the trading week with strong international momentum. COMEX futures advanced as the weaker United States dollar, sovereign-debt concerns and demand for defensive assets strengthened investor interest in precious metals.
The difference between the COMEX, London and Shanghai prices reflects variations in contract structure, trading hours, currency, delivery location and regional demand. Zambian traders should also monitor the Kwacha–US dollar exchange rate, because movements in the local currency directly influence the landed cost and domestic valuation of internationally priced gold.
“Successful trading is not built on speed alone; it is built on knowledge, discipline, verification and the courage to protect capital.”
